.Keith has worked in music all of his adult life. He started at Stereo Village in 1975. In 1982 Keith started working at C.B. Ellis in Burlington, North Carolina. Two years later he went to work for Audio Video Mart in Graham, North Carolina. In 1985 Keith decided to start his on business and Keith's CD's and Tapes was established.

Colon started at Mclellans Dime Store located in Burlington, North Carolina. He later went to Annedeen Hosiery and worked at this location for twenty one years. Colon decided to leave and team up with Keith to start their new business, called Keith's CD's and Tapes.
